Volunteer Assistance
Our Volunteer Assistance program is available to all members of Steels Creek Landcare Group.
Who are the Volunteers?
School groups made up of Years 9 to 11 students with 2 - 3 supervising adults or corporate groups at different times of the year
What do we do?
Volunteers do activities such as tree planting, weed control, firewood stacking, fence removal, garden tidy up plus a whole lot more…
When are they available?
Between 2-5 hours a day – depending on the needs of everyone
What does the host provide?
To be present throughout the visit, have lots of activities for the volunteers to do and a snack and drink for afterwards.
